spacious room, functional air conditioning
The location feels isolated, difficult luggage transfer on foot!!! Shabby reception area with peeling paint, worn-out floors, and inadequate security measures!!! Stairs are steep and narrow, not ideal for heavy suitcases!!!

The hotel had perfect and magnificent location not far from the ferry, and the Centre of the old town. My single room had modern conveniences, including climate control, a safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were superfriendly and friendly and were always there to help;)))
Sadly, but there was mould in some areas.

It was just a prime choice for a weekend excursion in Zanzibar with good value considering price it charged. The cozy mix of traditional and modern decor in my room made it feel cute and homey. Be ready for some stair climbing upon arrival and departure.

Perfect for a romantic getaway
The staff was super friendly,, especially this guy named Jay. He went out of his way to help us with everything we needed, seriously. The room was spacious and had this mix of traditional charm and modern comfort, seemed like a real cozy hideout. Plus, we loved the terrace on the top floor with great views to chill together.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, I suppose.

Noisy street.

The rooms at Emerald Palm are absolutely stunning! The private bathrooms are clean and provide all the necessary toiletries. The city view from some rooms is breathtaking. As someone who enjoys a cozy and well-equipped room, I was delighted to find air conditioning and an electric kettle in the single room. The soundproofing in the twin room ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Oh, and the sofa in the single room was a nice touch too. The bathrobes provided an extra touch of luxury, making me feel like a VIP. the rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed for a fantastic stay.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the wardrobe in the room. It might sound silly, but I found it a bit small for my liking.
